Below is a list of some of our partners most recent and pressing needs and/or service opportunities. If you have a service opportunity that you would like to see posted, email us by clicking HERE.


Monthly: Want to join in the fight against human trafficking? Want to be part of a network seeking to make Austin a SlaveFree City? Then join us monthly at the Allies Against Slavery meeting. Click HERE, and sign up and you will get an email notification of our next meeting.


RESTORE Haiti Pilgrimages

Annually: Austin New Church has partnered with HELP ONE NOW to develop sustainble works for orphan care and against human trafficking through prevention and rescue. Along with that ANC heads up several pilgrimages each year to Haiti in order to give you the opportunity to work alongside local Haitians, meet our partners, and have a first hand look at the work we've done. Communities in Schools: Smart Kids

Weekly: SmartKids is an afterschool program for children living in public housing managed by Housing Authority of the City of Austin. SmartKids creates a safe environment for students of all ages to deepen their education for a brighter future. If you would like more volunteer information, click HERE.


Communities in Schools: Mentoring Matters

Weekly: Mentoring Matters is a mentoring program that allows mentor matches to meet both in school and out in the community. MM pairs elementary and middle school students in need with caring adult mentors to build one-to-one relationships that have lasting impact. To know more about volunteering, click HERE.


Mobile Loaves and Fishes: Monthly Survival Packs

Monthly: Creation of these "survival packs" is a wonderful way to contribute to MLF"s mission with your family and/or restore community. Survival Packs are ziplock bags that may include, but are not limited to, the following: crackers, granola bars, dried fruit, water, unused toiletries, hats, sunblock, and prayer cards or words of encouragement. Texas Ramps

Building Freedom for the Homebound

Have you ever changed a person’s life in a single day? The Texas Ramp Project does it hundreds of times a year! We build wheelchair ramps for disabled or elderly people who can’t afford to buy one. In a few hours on a Saturday morning, we give these folks the freedom to leave their home again—the home where they want to remain but whose steps have imprisoned them. Safe Families for Children

A Movement of Families Helping Children and Families in Crisis

Safe Families for Children is a volunteer movement that gives hope and support to families in distress. Located in 70 cities in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and other countries, Safe Families supports families during crises. We are motivated by compassion to keep children safe and out of foster care. Alison Morriss is the Houston and Austin SF coordinator. The Settlement Home for Children

Changing Lives for Good since 1916

The Settlement Home's mission is to promote healing and growth in children, young adults, and families by providing a continuum of care, support and resources. We serve individuals with histories of severe trauma, abuse, and neglect. For more information click HERE
