    Terra Brimberry

    Human Resources | she/her

Terra and her husband, Don, came to ANC in 2018 after searching for a church family that had an expansive table for all to join. She has always been active in a local church and grew up as an MK (Missionary Kid) in Seoul, Korea, and then a PK (Preacher’s Kid) in West Texas.

In spite of their more conservative background, her parents taught her the true meaning of God's grace and instilled in her a love for people, a passion for equality, and a heart for hospitality. Terra has two wonderful adult children and an amazing son-in-law.

She started her career as a Social Worker, and now works in Account Management for a software company.

  • Craig Copeland

Craig is a Memphis Tennessee native, and has lived in Austin since 2000. Craig and Tamara met in college, have been married for 31 years, are parents to four amazing twenty somethings, and really dig each other. Easter 2022 was our first introduction to ANC and has become more special with every meeting, concert, event, and meal together.

Craig works as a Software Test engineer for a government contractor, and helps to find and mentor some of Austin’s most outstanding Software Testers.

During the COVID years, Craig walked through the city of Austin with his most ambitious day walking 33 miles. During one of those walks, a neighbor invited Craig to fill in on the tennis court, and today he’s an avid tennis player and fan.

Patrick grew up in a very evangelical environment where he felt he was at a crossroads with his sexuality and his faith, but ANC became the first church home where he truly felt he could explore the complexities of faith while also being openly queer.

He works from home in UX design and has a theatre/creative background (which he utilizes on occasion to keep his creative muscles moving and to ensure his theatre degree from Baylor University doesn’t go to waste).

She’s found it a safe place to ask questions and explore the edges of doubt and curiosity. She works as a database architect and loves writing, baking, documentaries, and deep conversations.

As someone who has lived with a chronic illness for many years, she has deep empathy and wisdom when it comes to supporting and loving those who are differently abled.
