The Painted Churches are unexpected works of art dotted around Schulenberg, TX. They appear unassuming as you approach them, but when you enter the front doors, you find breath-taking beauty painted by early 1800’s German and Czech immigrants.

We'll meet at the church on Wednesday, Feb 28 at 8:00 am to carpool and arrive in Schulenberg at 9:30 am. We'll tour 5 churches total, with a lunch break in between at the Garden Co. Cafe. We plan to be back in Austin around 6:00 pm.

The cost is $20 for the tour, as well as paying for your lunch and a tip for the guide. Please RSVP with Catherine by February 18.
